Job Description:

This role is based in Austin, TX and reports to the VP of Sales. This is a player/coach role expanding and developing an inside sales team with the Vice President of Sales.  Our ideal candidates possess strong B2B sales acumen and a fearless approach to developing prospect relationships and creating new opportunities. They must have experience working with an account based marketing approach, be data driven, demand-generation focused and be able to impact the direction of the team.

Primary duties include managing a team of three business development associates plus lead discovery, development, tracking, and appointment setting with your assigned Sales Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, develop and expand  BDR team of three, driving results while providing consistent feedback, coaching, training, and performance management
  • Responsible for reporting and presenting to executive sales management: demand generation, sales operations and field marketing organization on forecasts, KPI's, Quarterly Business Reviews and overall program and team performance
  • Qualify leads for the enterprise sales team
  • Define individual and BDR team KPI’s with VP of Sales
  • Manage to individual and team KPI’s with VP of Sales via Salesforce
  • Research and recommend outreach tactics and strategies with VP of Sales and VP of Marketing
  • Understand ABM strategies, outbound sales and marketing automation (SaaS) landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position PostUp to win
  • Manage team metrics, both team and individual, to track sales performance
  • Implement a training program for a business outcomes pitch articulating the value of an email address to deliver ROI
  • Follow the established PostUp inside sales process as published and consistently and regularly use Salesforce to provide timely and accurate forecasting

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Proven business development and inside sales leader with a track record of sales excellence
  • Minimum of five (5) years successful inside sales track record in meeting or exceeding sales quota, meeting and outbound metrics
  • Relevant inside sales experience in the last three years in a call center environment 
  • Strongly prefer previous experience with SaaS technologies in a related industry (marketing technology)
  • Experience selling software products and solutions to executives strongly preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast pace, rapid changing environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or other related field
