The Role

This position will be located in Austin, TX and report to the VP of Sales. Sales Directors are responsible for creating and closing new opportunities at mid-market and Enterprise companies in the digital marketing space.  As a key leader of our client-facing sales team, you will call on Director, VP, and C-level interactive digital marketing professionals selling the value of PostUp’s comprehensive approach to customer engagement within a specific geographic region or set of named accounts. 

This is a pure hunter role. We’re looking for the very best athletes who are aggressive while still being team players, smart, nimble, and hungry.  A passion for winning and a self-starter attitude are musts!

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create and drive net new revenue within a specified region or list of named accounts
  • Develop a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via targeted, innovative cold-calls, marketing leads follow-up, personal relationships, PostUp executive introductions, industry networking, and awareness building
  • Close contracts at a cadence and value to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota expectations
  • Develop strategic territory plan in conjunction with VP Sales          
  • Follow the established PostUp sales process as published and consistently and regularly use Salesforce to provide timely and accurate forecasting

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Proven sales hunter and closer with a track record of sales excellence
  • Minimum of five (5) years successful sales track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual annual quota between $500k and $1 mil.
  • Relevant sales experience in the last three years in email (preferred), marketing automation, adtech, or CRM software.
  • Strongly prefer previous experience selling SaaS technologies in a related industry.
  • Solution sales experience a big plus.
  • Experience selling software products and solutions to marketing and sales professionals strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable in a fast pace, rapid change environment
  • Must be able to orchestrate complete product demonstrations and credibly discuss technical topics such as data integration, XML APIs, etc. and if needed be productive without the assistance of a Sales Engineer or Product Specialist

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
